First Official Stills of Kim Sun Ho and Go Yoon Jung in Netflix Romance K-drama Can This Love be Translated
This week a lot of new stills came out for upcoming K-dramas and I’ve been sifting through the ones that interest me. Romance K-drama Can This Love be Translated with Kim Sun Ho and Go Yoon Jung dropped three official stills showing the leads visuals solo and in one interacting shot. Kim Sun Ho plays a translator and Go Yoon Jung is a top actress, and this drama also has additional name recognition in that the script is from the Hong Sisters and it’s their first project since Alchemy of Souls. I find these two stars very visually compatible and both are strong actors with the ability to generate chemistry with all their opposite sex costars in the romance dramas I’ve watched from each in the past.
I can’t watch anything with Kim Seon Ho cos the guy has no mouth which is distracting, similar to Ryan Reynolds.
Omg my faves! 2 very talented and charming actors with lots of chemistry! Can’t wait! Hoping this will be good!
Still don’t understand why Melo Movie, Tangerines, Genie and this drama are not airing on TV. The budgets must truly have been astronomical.
It’s not necessarily budget driven? These dramas are produced as Netflix originals just like Doona! / Time With You / Love Alarm Mr Plankton etc were. Kim EunSook has admittedly she feels a lot of ratings pressure so prefers OTT exclusives. Netflix for their part seem interested in producing more rom com originals than they have in the past.
This drama cannot air on tv simply because ksh image brutally damage in domestic market his fan cannot make drama hit you need neutrals to watch his drama as compared international fan are more generous and he only doing ott drama like tyrant whereas Tangerine,genies are big budget drama at present tvn is in loss and don’t want to take risk after wtsg flop and jtbc always play safe so it better to be Netflix
Kim Seon Ho went from one of the hottest actors with the most CFs to now endorsing two different brands of toilet bowl cleaner.

I’m quite excited to watch him in a romance drama! I never understood the hype for Go Yoo-jung, I don’t think she’s very beautiful and I don’t think she’s a great actress. She’s good but nothing special. Sota Fukushi in a KDrama continues this great mix in K and Jdramas.
I get where you’re coming from regarding GYJ. Like, I do think she’s pretty, but not significantly prettier than other pretty K-actresses, so I don’t get the goddess worship. But it’s probably her being styled and portrayed as a great beauty in AoS that has made people see her that way lol.
That’s said, I’m still excited for this drama. But then again, I’m one of those people who really don’t give a f**k what actors and actresses do in their private lives as long as they’re not affecting productions or commiting crimes, so I say good for KSH for landing a romance drama again! The meltdown from some people on this site would be hilarious lol
