Netflix Hit K-drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call Hits #2 on Top Non-English Shows as Squid Game 2 Drops to #7 — 11 Comments

  1. I enjoyed every episode, fu ny, exciting, dramatic, too little cohesion with other depts, well acted too. Then I watched The Pitt and realise Trauma Code aspires to be The Pitt and became a caricature. It is a webtook i believe, still entertaining but The Pitt hits hard and true and I enjoyed both for different reasons. Do watch The Pitt. So far, it has been excellent. Can’t believe doctors and nurses work 15 hour shift? Insane. The Trauma Code love of running is entertaining but after reading some articles on The Pitt where the doctors never run, or not run so fast, I understood why and it was enlightening. Anyway good show but it isn’t real in a sense. Stylish though.

    • If you enjoyed both for different reasons then I don’t know why you’re knocking The Trauma Code for not being realistic like The Pitt. TRC knows full well it’s based on a webtoon and so to deliver those types of dramatic thrills with almost superhuman characters and near improbable settings it never aspired to be the Pitt anyway. It’s its own thing.

  2. I loved Trauma Code! Granted, I’m not a medical professional and I don’t know how medically accurate it is, I still loved the script, acting, and directing. I was engaged the entire time, which is rare for me in my K-drama consumption lately, as the last shows I watched were on 1.5 speed.

Looking forward to season 2! I hope it’s just as good!

  3. Never been a fan of medical drama unless lead actors are appealing to me that is not the case for Trauma Code. May check it out when there’s nothing else to watch.
