iQiyi and Youku Airdrops Xianxia C-drama A Moment But Forever with Tang Yan and Liu Xue Yi on March 27th
This xianxia drama was only filmed in late 2023 but it feels more old school than that, probably because it just looks mid budget and overall like someone tried to copy and paste hit xianxia dramas but the result comes across as cobbled together. Of course the previews could be wrong and the upcoming A Moment But Forever turns out to be better than the sum of its parts. The xianxia C-drama starring Tang Yan and Liu Xue Yi will airdrop this Thursday March 27th on both iQiyi and Youku so that will make it harder to get a true take on the viewership and buzz since it’ll be split up. But no one even the leads is banking on this being a hit or leveling up their careers so at best it will be better than expected. After a spate of xianxias this past month has slowed down on the genre so this feels like a good time to slot this in.

The poster of the characters made their face barely visible. Are they scared to show close ups. Even squinting my eyes did not help lol. Can’t even recognize tang yan at all. Been waiting on this drama due to curiosity
like will the leads bring good chemistry? It is an odd pairing for sure.
why people have a habbit to judge always? are they come for entertainment and watch a good story
why the become Oscar critic? or Cinematography critic ? or face critic?
So being nagging like grandma and give a chance to those already make the dram so hard

They over photoshopped Yang Tan cause I don’t even recognize her! I’m excited to see Liu Xueyi again. FL is 40 years old but ML looks mature so I think this pairing might work. I used to really like her with Wallace Huo pairing.
I like Liu Xue-yi so will probably catch up on this in a few months once I find out if the drama has a decent ending. The posters look terrible, but I hope it does well! Good luck to the drama!
