iQiyi Confirms Bai Lu’s Character in Xianxia C-drama Topped 500 Million Heat Index for the First Time in Platform History
Congrats to Bai Lu for coming out of xianxia C-drama Feud smelling like roses. The drama was polarizing in reviews and audience feeling towards it and was widely accused of watering its buzz online. But organically there was plenty of chatter that I could see so while it may not be as big of a hit as fans of the drama proclaim it was still quite watched. I hate watched it tho lol and could imagine a good portion did as well, but that’s better than being so bored and dropping it. iQiyi confirmed this week that Bai Lu’s character Li Qing Yue/Hua Ru Yue broke 500 million heat index on the platform, the first time ever for any character in any drama that aired on iQiyi. It is a massive feat and totally believable that she was the one to achieve it, her fandom is huuuuuge and quite active. Plus she did well in the drama, her character may have sucked but her performance I quite liked.

Congrats to Bai Lu. Feud was a fun watch for me! It was a parody on xianxia tropes all twisted up with angst and multiple timelines.
She had some acting chop that was quite impressive.
I really found Feud not very enjoyable. I dropped it as the storyline did not interest me. But no complains on lead casts acting.
This drama is meh for me. I fast forwarded through the episodes. I only watched the part where male lead lost his memory and last episode just to know the ending. I don’t think the leads had much chemistry. Much as I love Bai Lu in most shows and variety as well. You won’t miss a thing by skipping this show.

I love Bai Lu but Fued was just so boring. It’s just a mishmash of different Xianxia plot lines recycled into another drama. There’s literally nothing fresh about it. Had to fast-forward every single episode and really struggling to finish it.
Well…heat index so hot or not , Douban gave it an average ratings of just 6.1. Bad reviews doesn’t mean it was bad netizens . Preferences ya. Then again,
Bai Lu’s acting was called ‘ ugly’ when in the drama ( p/s : l didn’t finish watching it coz l dislike the idea of killing your own spouse ( nonetheless is a serious crime …deity or mortal ) which may have a negative impact on our society that is facing the fall of the marriage constitution.l heard once that China encourages bigger family now than the old protocol of a single kid family. At least, that is a good thing, isn’t it?
Like….when her kid dies may be she could forgive N forget then, move on. There is other better men or deity. I mean…get real.
