Period Fantasy Thriller K-drama Delusion with Suzy and Kim Sun Ho Release Script Reading Stills
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen either leads Suzy and Kim Sun Ho on the small screen, but both will be back soon. Suzy and Kim Sun Ho has started filming the K-drama Delusion, but before that arrives both have other K-dramas already completed that should air first. She has Genie, Make a Wish with Kim Woo Bin and he has Can This Love be Translated with Go Yoon Jung. But Delusion reunites the two from a very popular non-OTP pairing in Start-Up five years ago and this drama has the PD of The Face Reader behind the camera. The drama is about a female vampire in the 1930’s era that hires a painter to draw her portrait and he gets embroiled into the mystery of her life. The drama is not only filming in South Korea, but will also head to China to do shoots in the massive Hendian Studios as well as in Shanghai.
Kim Sun Ho. I haven’t watched him in a while but Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha was enjoyable.
I like Suzy as an actress. She is one of the better idol-turned-actresses in my opinion. Excited to see her return to the small screen soon.
It will be directed and written by Han Jae Rim. Except for The Face Reader, none of his projects have appealed to me. I read the webtoon on which Delusion is based months ago, and I didn’t find it memorable either. It was a simple and predictable story.
Definitely tuning in for this! Just watched Anna, and Suzy definitely improved leaps and bounds, so I’d say she’s an upgrade from the previously cast female lead Han So Hee, who I find to be a one-note actress. I like Kim Seon Ho too and I’m glad he’s back on the small screen as a lead. They could never make me hate him lol. Plot sounds interesting as well!
Suzy, I like her well enough. I am not sure about Kim Seon Ho though, he’s in my “hard-to-watch-because-of-plastic-nose” list, along with Lee Jong Suk, Rowoon, Im Soo Hyang and others.
I hope the story isn’t too eerie. Not a fan of vampire or gumiho sort. I liked Suzy in Anna and am indifferent to KSH. Perhaps the plot is interesting.
