Online Chatter Quiets Down for C-actress Zhao Lu Su After a Wild Last Month of August with Her Livestream Blasts Against Agency and Quitting Weibo
The combination of Zhao Lu Si leaving Weibo, the largest social media platform in China, as well as netizens attention moving on to newer topics has made her situation noticeably quiet down to start off this month in September. Last month she dominated August with her near daily livestreams blasting her agency and also mouthing off on a variety of topics all of which immediately trended. It was like watching a potential trainwreck and fascinating in a “I can’t believe she’s doing this so publicly” way. She also announced that she was deleting her Weibo account with millions of followers, which took 2 weeks for the platform to process the deletion. She’s now gone from Weibo but there are obviously other ways for her to interact with her fans or post publicly if she chooses. But with Weibo being gone the online chatter around her has deceased dramatically, also coinciding with reportedly her and her agency reaching a detente of sorts. Neither side is pushing hard at this moment for contract termination or resumption of activities, kinda just watching and seeing how things unfold. If her on deck drama Love’s Ambition does air in the coming months it will probably mark a big moment for the two sides to take action again.

Oh is she really banned? I was wondering why I haven’t heard about her on Weibo these days since I assume if she livestreams, Weibo would talk about her livestreams even though she deleted Weibo. How do we know she was banned? Just asking out of curiosity.

Last time even when she lost her voice, she still live stream everyday. Now why do you think she never live stream anymore…I think I also saw her fans announced she will be show up in brand live streaming but later on cancelled.
