TVING Thriller K-drama Dear X with Kim Yoo Jung and Kim Young Dae Releases More Moody Posters and Stills Ahead of November 6th Premiere
When I see the posters and teaser stills for K-drama Dear X it totally gives off a certain vibe and I couldn’t quite place my finger on it until recently. It’s giving off teen/young adult angst vampire movie vibes, like a K-version of Twilight more than a serial killer type show. No diss since the end production remains to be seen but the artistic flair for the promotion materials thanks do the blue and grey tint to everything makes me think everyone likes in the K-version of Seattle. With that said, Kim Yoo Jung’s character as the social climbing femme fatale user could be the succubus in question that sucks all the life out of the men devoted to her while she grasps for more. Not sure if I’m currently in the mood for an anti-heroine thriller but at least this drama is a different genre from all the recent offerings.

Really like what I’m seeing so far, I’m a total sucker for dramas that stand out from the rest.
I don’t like the posters. But I’ll check it out for KYD’s sake.
Not a super fan of any of the leads, but I’m surely going to check this out. It’s rare that we get to see a fully evil (not just morally grey) female lead character. I’m all for unhinged, psycho female leads that are interesting to watch! I just hope they won’t whitewash her in the KDrama
