Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin First Husband-Wife to Win Best Actor and Best Actress at the 2025 Blue Dragon Awards
So these two didn’t only win the biggest acting awards of the night, they also won Most Popular Awards too lol. So it was a sweep for the husband-wife duo Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin this year at the 2025 Blue Dragon Awards honoring the best in Korean film. Hyun Bin took home Best Actor for Harbin and Son Ye Jin won Best Actress for her role in No Other Choice. The movie also took home Best Film continuing its powerhouse progression this year since it’s release. The married couple couldn’t help but steal the show with their open affection, and thanking each other and their son as well in their acceptance speeches. Love seeing a true power couple with such warmth and fandom love as well.

One of the most well-loved couples in K-ent. I read that this is the first time a couple took home both major acting awards in the same awards night and that’s so on-brand for these 2 A-listers. More power to you both!
After a few years of hiatus from Kdrama, this couple’s Crash Landing on You brought me back to K dramaland again. Congrats on their awards and happy marriage!
Their shippers really lucked out on this ship. This couple is the gift that keeps giving.
Right?! I hate shipping IRL people but I couldn’t help but ship them, way back during those dating denial days. First and last time for me, I don’t think this type of ship will ever happen again lol.
Love them! Congrats.
Congrats👏I’m so very happy for them. They well-deserved it✨️
Off topic: Not gonna talk about the Golden Rooster Awards?👀
I perpetually want to fight Yejin’s stylist (and Binnie should’ve left those glasses at home) but they’re still sooooooo cute OMG. They’re so well-matched that I will always wonder why they didn’t get together much earlier. Based on shipper edits, they’ve been in the same mix of people since like 2001 but somehow only really got together nearly 2 decades later lol it’s crazy.
I think even if they’d been orbiting around each other since the early 2000s, they never really had a chance to interact. Even when they received that Producer’s Award together in 2014, they only smiled politely at each other, that’s it. The sparks only really had a chance to fly when they finally worked together in their mid (or late?) 30s. The rest is history. Timing and fate are really an amazing thing.
