The nine-tailed fox (gumiho) and human romance is becoming as ubiquitous a K-drama set up as the chaebol guy and plucky poor girl scenario. Not complaining but it does mean each coupling has to have either an unique twist or amazing chemistry between the leads to give it a differentiating and worth watching factor. SBS January 2026 rom-com K-drama Human From Today with Kim Hye Yoon and Park Solomon is starting the promo cycle a month ahead of it’s premiere and so far so good. She’s got the onscreen charisma to pull off a female gumiho and he’s got all the tall handsome athletic visuals to make her fall for him lol. It’s a fresh pairing and I like both leads so I have a soft spot for this drama on premise alone so I hope the story is compelling.

This is going to be superhit. Sbs first drama of 2026 with the Kim hye yoon. Its gonna be very good. Plus Fri sat slot the still cuts looking absolutely great , poster was ok but I hope this will be successful. Plus netlfix this is sure Shor hit
The plot is also very interesting the stroy is not simple and has layers for sure. The crumbs too suggested the flashbacks and the old Era is entering and Eunho character is the most inetsryinh and mysterious one and I know Kim hye yoon will absolutely eat this role up. I hope Lomon too becomes even more famous with this because this guy is really good honestly. He will do well as well. Plus the characters are very unique as well on paper. Just the CGI should be top notch and I think It will. Hope this drama becomes a success.
Yeah, I also hope it becomes popular, but at the same time I’m a bit worried after checking who the scriptwriter is. They’ve only written one drama so far, and that one still felt quite amateur. Thankfully, the director is someone who’s quite well known for films, so that gives me some hope.
I really hope that by pairing with Kim Hye-yoon, Lomon can get that ‘magic’ people always talk about. Since her male leads often become very popular after working with her. She really feels like a lucky charm for tall male leads. And honestly, he’s actually a better actor than some of her previous partners.

This will be Solomon break out hit but not Kim hyeyoon, she is great at acting but she isn’t a star, sorry, have to say it

Not feeling the poster design that makes it feel like a Disney teen movie, but everything else seems cute! Looking forward to it!
