C-netizens Sad that Zhao Jin Mai Will Not Attend Event that Would Reunite Her with Both Top Visual Male Leads Zhang Ling He and Song Wei Long for a Fanfic Love Triangle
So C-actress Zhao Jin Mai has become the latest “collector of flower boys” so to speak, whenever an actress does successive dramas with a bunch of hottie actors she becomes the lucky one so to speak. She recently did Shine on Me with Song Wei Long but also did back-to-back dramas The Princess Royal and Our Generation with Zhang Ling He. Oddly enough I don’t watch that many C-dramas but I’ve watched all three of these and I don’t know if the connective thread is Mai Mai or her two male leads that hooked me. After SoM aired there was a very popular fandom edited “drama” video showing her in a modern drama love triangle with both actors playing bad boy and good boy type roles and she’s totally stringing both along haha. It even ends with her saying “I want both” and girl I can’t blame you. So Zhao Jin Mai was supposed to attend a recent Weibo Awards where both Song Wei Long and Zhang Ling He would be there so fandom was dying for her to be seated between them and give everyone a collective perfect love triangle orgasm. Alas she will not attend so that fanfic dream must wait for another day.
Wouldn’t that create some awkward fan wars for the male leads? It would be funny for sure but I can only imagine some awkward chaos from their fan base. So silly.
Honestly my eyes can’t tell who’s who from the driver-license shots side by side. lol. Top visuals? Honestly again either they are just not my cup of tea or I’ve never been impressed thanks to their weak presence or unconvincing acting. For SoM that I watched 20 eps and then dropped, ZJM was the one carrying the drama, at least for those 20 eps I’ve seen.
Can we add Wu lei bai Jing ting Linyi to the mix lol. Yeah that video on 2024 Tencent was quite something. Fans are so good to create stories whichever way you go. I think Mai Mai has chemistry with all her co stars. I’ve shipped them all the way from a little things called first love. But what I like about her is she seems grounded and down to earth and kind. She’s very clever too. I read she’s very academic. She’s also not creating controversy and she gets along with all of them. I’ve seen all the BTS and interviews she does get along with the boys. Her parents should be proud.i love AASOL, TPR and shine on me. Shine on me was beautiful and heartwarming. It was easy to watch and a good ending. I’ve seen the show 3 times already lol
I forgot to add. I think it’s smart she doesn’t attend. Fan wars will hurt her. Zhang linghe fans will say something to her and SWL I am reminded with the Tian Xu Wei incident. Her fans though are not toxic. I don’t think SWL fans are either. Too bad I loved ZLH and her pairing. She looks good with either. She seems to be friends with both. But it’s smart to avoid being the center of attention and just focus on her careers. She’s got a bright future in the industry. Good luck ZJM collect more flowers boys to the list. Oh she has that drama with Wei Da Xun. I will look forward to seeing that.
LOL! Ummm…can’t blame her for wanting both. It makes you look back at that one event where ZJM sat in between both of them. Girl was so lucky, and goes along well with either.
Besides Yang Yang, these two are the other I would consider top visuals also.
Oh I wanted to see this triangle on screen too. lol. She has great chemistry with ZLH. Have yet to see her SWL show.
