This may come as a relief for K-actor Yoo Ah In in that at least he knows what his future is for this uncertain legal issue. The Seoul district court today sentenced the disgraced actor to one year in jail for a host of illegal drug use charges that started a year and a half ago in February 2023. I … Continue reading →

This drama looks more interesting than I excepted and for that I’m thrilled with the final casting. Modern fantasy thriller mystery C-drama Love on the Turquoise Land has released the first posters and preview a few weeks ago and I’m just getting around to checking it out. Starring Dilraba Dilmurat and Chen Xing Xu, the drama gives off very moody … Continue reading →
I fully plan to watch tvN Mon-Tues rom-com No Gain No Love with Shin Mina and Kim Young Dae, just haven’t had time to start yet. Early reviews have been good so far, and seems like polarizing than same network different time slot rom-com Love Next Door which has stronger feelings either way of loving or disliking it. No Gain … Continue reading →
So if the viewership was even higher for C-drama Are You the One it might be in contention for biggest hit of summer 2024. Alas the viewership was merely good so it makes the Douban opening ratings of 8.0 even more astonishing. I have been watching the drama since it premiered and have mixed feelings. I love the OTP, both … Continue reading →

So the South Korean conservative culture remains strong despite in modern times divorce being more and more acceptable and even adultery being decriminalized. It’s been a stellar summer for the actress as she has been in back-to-back Netflix K-drama hits, with Sweet Home 3 in July and now thriller The Frog in August. She was always great in SH … Continue reading →
So it feels disingenuous for K-ent to cover extensively BTS member Suga and his recent drunk driving (drunk riding) scandal and police investigation and not cover this way more serious case. Thankfully the K-media is all over this one as well and for good reason because the allegations if true are baaaaaaad. K-pop star Taeil (Moon Tae Il), a member … Continue reading →

Producer Yu Zheng has confirmed the two will be starring in his upcoming C-drama adaptation of novel Fall From Grace Spring Night (坠落春夜 Duo Luo Chun Ye). The novel is set in modern times but the drama will … Continue reading →
So word in the industry is that C-actress Bai Lu is always in dating scandals not of her own side doing. Many actors and actresses will personally leak dating rumors to drum up interest and publicity but for her it’s not that, it’s more that she has really good chemistry with her onscreen costars and maybe could have dated one … Continue reading →
There are a ton more stills released this week for upcoming SBS Fri-Sat fantasy legal drama The Judge From Hell. Female lead Park Shin Hye plays a Judge who gets her body taken over by a demon who is using her position to track down wrongdoers to send the person to hell. Her foil and likely partner in crime may … Continue reading →
There isn’t a lot of story per se with tvN drama Love Next Door, so it rests on the characterizations, interactions, and chemistry. And so far 4-episodes in it’s still a mixed bag for me. I want desperately to love it and find myself working hard to merely like it, if the leads weren’t Jung Hae In and Jung So … Continue reading →
