A big thanks to upcoming jTBC legal drama Miss Hammurabi for the Monday chuckles as the drama released the first official still showing the three leads exactly in character. Starring Go Ara, L (Kim Myung Soo) and Sung Dong Il, the drama is adapted from the same name novel about judges on the Seoul Eastern District Court and the cases … Continue reading →
Oh my god this drama is so turning into a Lee Jun Ki fan service work, which I would have no problems with in concept. The latest set of sleek and moody drama stills from upcoming tvN legal action drama Lawless Lawyer continues to emphasize the lawless side of Lee Jun Ki’s lawyer character, and if he were a superhero … Continue reading →
Both of these young actors have come a long way since their sitcom days and may be reunited this year in an interesting drama project. Lee Jong Seok and Kim Ji Won have been offered the lead roles in the Netflix produced K-drama called See You Again. It’s described as a youth romance drama by the writer of Oh My … Continue reading →
Who else has a sense of deja vu seeing the first drama stills from the upcoming jTBC supernatural-tinged police thriller Sketch. Of course the first stills are of leading man Rain but I legit felt like I was either seeing a more scruffy version of Rain’s character in Fugitive: Plan B or Rain photoshopped into one of the many pictures … Continue reading →
This is a good choice both for the production and for K-actress Seo Hyun Jin if she ends up accepting. She’s considering the lead role in the K-drama remake of the fantasy romance Korean movie The Beauty Inside, also known as the movie with half the Korean acting population doing cameos in. The movie had the male lead wake up … Continue reading →
K-actor Lee Min Ho has been serving his military enlistment for over a year now but he’s finally donning the army fatigues after going in for basic training last month. I’d say army private Lee Min Ho is about as believable as all the hottie oppas before him but then we all accepted military genius god Song Joong Ki in … Continue reading →
I’m moderately interested in upcoming tvN Mon-Tues romance fantasy drama About Time, but it sounds a bit like Tomorrow With You and I was underwhelmed with that so I don’t want to jinx it. About Time stars Lee Sung Kyung and Lee Sang Yoon as the leads, she will the ability to see the time clock of every person, i.e. … Continue reading →
Hahahaha, I gotta give SBS credi for going from one hilarious odd drama title to an even more hilarious and odd English version. Upcoming SBS Mon-Tues drama with the Korean title Greasy Melo will henceforth be known as Wok of Love in English. I love it, the wok is a traditional Chinese cooking implement and the word melo as used … Continue reading →
The’re a bunch of new K-dramas arriving this month but not until the end of April, and the first of those will be KBS Wed-Thurs arrival Suits taking over from Mystery Queen 2. The drama released a full cast poster adding the supporting leads to the male bromance duo of Park Hyung Sik and Jang Dong Gun, giving them an … Continue reading →
The hair growing out phase is usually the most awkward but when it comes to K-actress Ha Ji Won‘s short bob cut last year for MBC drama Hospital Ship I can’t be done with it fast enough. She needs the longer hair to frame her strong features but a longer shoulder length bob isn’t that bad as an in-between look … Continue reading →
This is like watching a slow motion train wreck in GIF form and being unable to look away. The K-ent search engines and news portals lit up a few days ago in unison after girl group A Pink made a media appearance and member Namjoo appeared looking completely and objectively awful. It wasn’t bad makeup or outfit, it was a … Continue reading →
I have high hopes for upcoming jTBC medical drama Life, as always the standard to try and reach remains the classic White Tower which recently MBC re-aired and still got ratings. Life centers around a hospital with doctors played by Lee Dong Wook, Jo Seung Woo, Won Jin Ah, and Moon So Ri among a crazy talented supporting cast. The … Continue reading →
This is too funny not to wonder if the K-drama gods were playing a joke and pulling the strings. After Song Seung Heon and Go Ara did the grim reaper police drama Black last year (which I loved!), she went off and got paired with L (Kim Myung Soo) for their upcoming drama Miss Hammurabi. I laughed because Go Ara is … Continue reading →
