A huge kudos to the production team of upcoming tvN Wed-Thurs drama Baumdong Revenge Club for getting three fantastic female leads to form the titular club. Starring Lee Yo Won, Ra Mi Ran, and Myung Se Bin, with idol Jun of U-Kiss rounding out the club as the kiddo addition, the drama is adapted from the same name webtoon about a trio of ladies from disparate life backgrounds and circumstances who get together to form a club to get revenge on those who have betrayed or harmed them.

Lee Yo Won is a chaebol’s daughter in an arranged marriage with a cheating spouse, Ra Mi Ran is a poor fishwife with a bullied son, and Myung Se Bin is an orphan turned new society wife with an abusive husband. I love the idea of them working together to personally get payback for wrongs done, and I trust the PD Kwok Seok Jang who has down such a deft touch in his previous dramas Woman With a Suitcase, Miss Korea, Golden Time, My Princess, and Pasta.
