I already posted about the upcoming Alice in Borderland 2 airing on Netflix in December of 2022 but this week the pictures and promos are out from the announcement event called TUDUM Japan. There were TUDUM events held around the world by Netflix to announce upcoming dramas and shows and movies in that region and Japan may be primed to get to the next level the way K-dramas did thanks to Netflix in 2021. The four main stars were at TUDUM Japan including Yamazaki Kento, Tsuchiya Tao, Yamashita Tomohisa, and Naka Riisa. Alice is one of those survival game stories but unlike Battle Royale or As the God’s Will since I read the underlying manga I believe this one has a much stronger humanistic core and at the end even the main game masters as the four face cards will not come across as true villains. And the explanation of what the Borderland is actually ties in with the purpose of the games quite well. I can’t wait and am loving seeing the four leads so cool and having fun promoting the dorama.
