Time is rounding the corner into the end of January (first lunar new year yay!) which means new sageuk Our Blooming Youth premiering on February 6th will be here before you know it. The new posters give me throwback vibes to both Moonlight Drawn by Clouds and The King’s Affection, the soft and colorful hues and the leaning hard into the youth of the leads despite the serious life/death nature of the sageuk story with murder and political danger around each corner. This will be Park Hyung Sik‘s first sageuk lead and I could not get over all the weird hairstyles in Hwarang to stick with it but I’m excited to check this out. I LOVE the couples vibes from him and Jeon So Nee in the new preview, he towers over her and she’s so tiny and they are so gorgeous together.
