So C-ent has been watching the fourth top flower with a drama waiting to air to see how she fares. Liu Shi Shi, Tang Yan, and Zhao Li Ying have all come out with recent dramas to success so Yang Mi has two dramas on deck to compete. Folks thought Fox Spirit Matchmaker would come first but iQiyi went and air dropped this weekend In the Name of the Brother (Harbin 1944) so she’s back in the game. The drama stars Qin Hao as the male lead playing twin brothers and is top billed so this is his drama and the success or failure won’t really be attributed to Yang Mi, but it will give her a chance at serious fare and if her performance succeeds much like Tang Yan who was third billed in Blossoms Shanghai then she can use it to her career advantage. Let’s see when the early reviews come in.
