It’s been a comparatively quiet project year for K-actress Shin Mina but she’s gearing up for her comeback with the movie Diva. The title turns into an English pun of sorts as the movie is set in the world of Diving hence she’s a diving diva har har. It’s actually a thriller after her character suffers and accident (diving?) and … Continue reading →
Most Monet paintings look great from a distance but a mess of strokes and colors up close, and in the case of K-actress Shin Mina at this week’s Cartier brand event on Seoul it’s the opposite. The picture above is lovely as it focuses on her expressive and unique face framed exquisitely with a matching set of turquoise, dark blue, … Continue reading →
I don’t recall ever seeing different gender stars wear the exact same outfit at a fashion event, and the first it happens both look great! It must be their star power, that of Shin Mina and Ha Jung Woo attending the Cartier winter launch in Seoul and wearing identical all black outfit underneath the same camel color coat with slight … Continue reading →
Leave it to K-actress Shin Mina to make me think she simultaneously looks beautiful while horribly dressed. Maybe 2017 fall fashion is just going over my head but Shin Mina’s black turtleneck with hand ruffles paired with neon pink high waisted crop trousers at the Roger Vivier event in Seoul was basically boring on top and hot mess on bottom. … Continue reading →
Everything else in life falls by the wayside in the face of a serious health scare, and currently Hallyu star Kim Woo Bin is the most high profile celebrity battling an unexpected and all too sobering battle with cancer. Kim Woo Bin has taken an indefinite and total hiatus from his entertainment career and is undergoing radiation treatment in the … Continue reading →
News that top K-star dating couple Lee Min Ho and Suzy threw a party with close friends to celebrate their two year anniversary was a nice reminder that even the most high profile scrutinized celeb relationships can work. Not that those two are getting married but even hitting a two year anniversary is worth celebrating especially under the harsh light … Continue reading →
The transition of tvN Fri-Sat drama from the record breaking ratings and buzz of Goblin into the quiet romance of Tomorrow With You has revealed the audience feedback three weeks in. I’ve been busy marathoning another drama so Tomorrow With You remains on my to watch list but I haven’t checked it out yet so it’s surprising to hear that … Continue reading →
Cable network tvN is taking a breather this weekend with its Fri-Sat time slot, following the conclusion of huge hit drama Goblin the follow up Tomorrow With You won’t air until next week February 3rd. Reason being this weekend is Lunar New Year, transitioning from the year of the monkey to the year of the rooster so the programming is … Continue reading →
It’s a bit of an unfortunate coincidence to have three instances of fashion heresy on the same week, and in this case one offender did it twice with two different fugly outfits. Lots of premieres are coming in dramas and movies which affords fans the opportunity to see oppa and unni doing press conferences, and also the opportunity to see … Continue reading →
The colors and cinematography continue to dazzle and impress in the new previews and drama posters for tvN romance Tomorrow With You. I still think it’s inspired if not a direct launch off from The Time-traveler’s Wife, but hopefully with a less fatalistic ending, but then again it’s fairly expected due to K-drama penchant for grand gestures to make a … Continue reading →
I’ve heard so many drama friends raving about Lee Je Hoon ever since the war movie The Front Line back in 2011, which he then followed up with the hit Introduction to Architecture. On the drama front he didn’t make an impression until the critical and ratings hit Signal last year but the drama didn’t interest me so I’m excited to … Continue reading →
Cable network tvN is going to end the 2016 year off right now that it’s airing mega hit drama Goblin on Fri-Sat. Hopefully the good quality will continue into 2017 as the drama to take over the same time slot will be Lee Je Hoon and Shin Mina‘s Tomorrow With You. Billed as a time-traveling romance, the only analog for … Continue reading →
The first blast of winter hits the pages of 1st Look magazine, very aptly might I say, but for the fact that it’s still hot where I’m at and fall seems to have just never arrived at all so it’s sad to see winter right around the corner. With that said, Shin Mina steals the spotlight in this pictorial even … Continue reading →
