Lee Young Ae Ends 2014 with a Bazaar Korea Pictorial But Still No Acting Comeback
Lee Young Ae is basically the female Won Bin, except with her marriage and being the mother to twins, her sabbatical from acting for the last decade has been transferring her life from the busy big screen to the busy personal sphere. Her last project was Sympathy for Lady Vengeance in 2005 but she remains most famous for Dae Jang Geum which aired in 2003 in the early days of Hallyu. I don’t know if she’s actually testing the waters for a comeback but she has been in the public eye a lot more this year, including doing high fashion pictorials such as this latest one for Bazaar Korea.
Everyone knows MBC has been trying to get her back for Dae Jang Geum 2, a series of yes-no-maybe spinning the wheels that smells more like a desperate plea than a genuine promising sequel. I hope she doesn’t do DJG2 but does come back soon with an acting gig either on the big or small screen. Kim Hee Ae has been flourishing with the same acting style and older elegant lady appeal, there is definitely room for a Lee Young Ae acting win again. She is so beautiful and classy here, the epitome of beauty that shines from within to further illuminate her external grace.
she isnt a female Won Bin since she announced that she would take a long break right before her marriage. Also, as a PHD candidate and a mother of two, she is pretty busy already with her personal life.
She isn’t a female WB though. I was under the impression that she wants to focus on being a mum and wife, whereas WB has none of these commitments.
She is stunning.
I am a mother of two(also twins), and it pretty much changed my whole life. She’ll come back anytime she feels ready, but it takes time to cooperate.
She looks fantastic.
ever beautiful!
Seeing this reminded me I needed to start Dae Jang Geum, so thank you. I’m a third done and really enjoying the Drama, but I keep thinking that she looks even better now than she did then. Also, I hope she keeps saying NO to any sequel.
Honestly….that was the best historical drama ever….hope u enjoy watching that….u wont regret it…
If im not mistaken…she is one of the most RESPECTED celebrity in korea….she seems like not eagerly wanted to be in the big screen… she just wants to act to what she wants…I mean…shes not afraid to lose her popularity…FOR ME…SHE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FEMALE KOREAN….EVER SINCE….TEN YEARS AGO….WAS LIKE YESTERDAY….
