The Chinese red carpet events whether awards or festivals continue to be more satortially interesting than the Korean counterparts. It’s not uniformly winning but there is diversity in color, style, cut, and trends that lighten up the visual enjoyment. There was so much uniqueness on display at last week’s 6th annual Beijing International Film Festival that I ended up liking many for shaking up the doldrums of formal dressing, even a jumpsuit ensemble that worked beautifully for the actress in question. This is a relative newcomer in the film festival circuit, and among Asian film festivals nowhere near the prestige and breadth of the long running famed Busan International Film Festival. But the more the merrier as film festivals highlight smaller works of art and seem like a fun forum for cross-cultural interactions.

What is fashion Designer Jessica Jung wearing?
She looks very pretty. They all look nice. We just need to use our imagination since the photobucket challenges us to do so.. 🙂
I think koala is trying to fix the issues.

Definitely interesting and watch worthy fashion and not boring and unimaginative.
I’ve also noticed that the Chinese red carpets are always more interesting to look at. And in this one I liked more of the outfits than I disliked too.
Nice…but some of the couture wear is like what the heck???!!! Hahaha
True to words. Very diverse. The lack of the little black dress is a welcome
And so many old faces too.
Haha, a lot of “Why is she wearing a sofa?”. But as you say, at least it’s diverse and ‘interesting’.
The actress at the top in the red dress really needs to shave her chest.
Thats not hair….
Ha Ha
It’s part of the dress not skin/hair at all! lol
Some of the dresses are not red carpet designs, more for a birthday party.
So many of the ladies look same. This plastic surgery amongst all is making them robotic in looks. Scary!
seriously LMH do something with that hair
