jTBC Offers Dual Female Lead Drama Classy Her to Kim Hee Sun and Kim Sun Ah
After Choi Ji Woo hit a sweet spot with cable in tvN drama Second Time Twenty Again, two more forty and over are heading to cable and also doing the pre-produced format. Kim Hee Sun and Kim Sun Ah are in talks for jTBC drama Classy Her (or Her with Class), making it not just female lead centric but also doubling down on it. It would make the return for both actresses after just a year, with Kim Hee Sun doing MBC drama Angry Mom and Kim Sun Ah did Masked Prosecutor on KBS. Hopefully the story will do both ladies justice and make it fun to combine two early Hallyu leading ladies, and also give them age-appropriate and fun male leads.
Classy Her will have Kim Hee Sun play the rich wife with elegance and class married into a chaebol family who sees her situation plummet once her husband’s family loses their wealth. Kim Sun Ah is a woman from the countryside who aspires and readies herself to marry up by educating herself so that she’s at ease in both class stratas. The drama will start filming in August for a late 2016 or early 2017 airing.

I love a noona romance but it’s been done to death so, yes, to the age appropriate.
Oh yeah! Let the badass women unite! I hope they get to show some serious girl power.
But Classy Her is a pretty awkward title (though not as terrible as Her with Class)– A Woman with Class, Classy Woman, or as others are calling this drama, A Woman of Dignity, all sound much better to me. K-Dramaland really needs someome highly proficient in English to assign just one title in English to each drama– having multiple English titles for each drama can make it very hard to find what you’re looking for.

Look like this drama about ladies classy more to my taste. I love both of them, super beautiful and hot in their 40’s. I go for Kim Hee Sun. She just so beautiful lady.
