C-actress Liu Shi Shi is one of those rare beauties who look equally stunning in modern or Chinese period garb. She even makes fantasy wuxia attire look pretty, what with the mashup of historical and sci-fi elements. Her recent pictorials have been going the sleek or edgier route, all of which I loved, but for her upcoming spread in a C-fashion magazine the look is all feminine softness. Even better is how the photographer really takes full advantage of Shi Shi’s ballerina roots, with her incredible posture and lines that can’t even be goals for the average woman other than to admire from afar like a painting. She’s going period again for her next drama, the adaptation of a time-traveling romance tale similar to Bu Bu Jing Xin and costarring HK-actor William Chan.
