The easiest part in writing about Moon Geun Young‘s first acting project of 2016 is not needing to provide a story synopsis. Who doesn’t know Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, even if younger generations may be more familiar with the punk stylized telling of it with the Romeo+Juliet movie. This new adaptation will unfold on the stage so only those lucky enough to live or visit Seoul in early December can catch the production, which pairs Moon Geun Young’s Juliet with actor Park Jung Min‘s tattooed and guyliner Romeo with an attitude. The production released two different couple posters, the intensity of the first one contrasts nicely with the sweetness of the second, showing young lovers who happen to also possess a heat streak.
