The best parts of the C-drama adaptation of fantasy romance Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles Peach Blossoms were the quiet scenes with leads Mark Chao and Yang Mi. The moments of connection and introspection built up their characters and the central romance alike, the world building and action scenes were the backup dancers to complete the tableau. The movie version with Yang Yang and Crystal Liu have to pack a lot of oomph into two hours and once of the worries is limiting the character development for the big screen action but from the looks of the latest preview there will be plenty of moody intensity and I couldn’t be happier. I love Crystal’s take in the previews on goddess Bai Qian, she’s even more haughty that Yang Mi pulled off and probably necessary to convey just how over it she is with the bullshit around her. Can’t this goddess just drink her peach wine in peace, she has no time for petty squabbles and mortal love triangles.
Third trailer for Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles Peach Blossoms (Once Upon a Time):
Why does it look so boring? Despite all of the prettiness everything is underwhelming.
Me too thinking this will be another movie with the pretty casts and tears and screams but no deep emotions…
Is this the third trailer? I thought it is the second. Anyone has the previous two trailers links? Thanks!
what date is it gonna be out
Aug 4th in China and August 12 in North America
Can somebody tell me what they say? Please pretty please with a cherry on top :). I was searching on youtube for english subs, but nobody translate it yet for this trailer.

Awesome! Thank you very much 🙂
The film look like it’s fast forwarding the story by 5x.
I was already disappointed with a key moment they changed in the movie.
When SuSu jumped to her death he jumped in after her, that was how it was in the drama and the book, it helped to see just how much he loved her.
But movie has him stopping himself at the edge…
Hoepfully they have a good explanation for this.
It also looks like it’s the evil girl the took her eyes instead of male lead.
I was wondering about the eyes too. But looking from the clothes that she’s wearing, she’s probably Bai Qian not SuSu (I think SuSu would wear something simple). Su Jin is probably just talking to her and that brings back all of her memories.
Yes susu even can say goodbye in front of yehua face before she jumps and the part that ye hua doesnt jump is really disappointing
That make it feels its not an eternal love
Maybe that why it named ‘once upon a time’ not ‘eternal love’ lol
Well they really need to shorten the story so they need to cut some emotions? Some characters are also removed 🙁
Better treat this movie as a new story to avoid disappointments
