I’m probably inordinately excited for tvN rom-com Her Private Life but honestly it’s been awhile since I’m so genuinely stoked. Male lead Kim Jae Wook has never done a rom-com leading man role, despite kinda stealing half the show of Marry Stayed Out All Night even when I was an OTP stan in that drama. Park Min Young is on a rom-com roll after Why Secretary Kim and when one is firing in all cylinders I want her to ride that momentum since she did so many serious dramas, melos, and even a sageuk before returning to rom-com world. The first drama stills are out of the two leads together in the same frame, with Park Min Young sharing a cheerful smile and then whispering to the viewer likely imploring us to watch. You don’t need to ask twice, girl!
