Jang Dong Yoon and Kim So Hyun are Pretty as a Picture in Couple Poster and New Stills for The Tale of Nokdu

I’ve been having a niggling sense of deja vu vibes from the promos and pairing of upcoming KBS drama The Tale of Nokdu and finally connected the dots when I saw the just released couple poster with leads Kim So Hyun and Jang Dong Yoon. This is Kim So Hyun’s turn to have her own sageuk youth romance in the same sweet vibe like Moonlight Drawn by Clouds. Jang Dong Yoon and Kim So Hyun is totally giving me the same hopes that I had when I first saw Kim Yoo Jung and Park Bo Gum together for Moonlight promos. Even better is Nokdu doesn’t have the court politics that bogged down Moonlight in the second half and we can just enjoy the two leads cross-dressing and fake pretending to be mother-daughter while falling in love.

I’m getting more and more excited as more stills and teasers trickle out. I feel like I’m going to love both leading characters esp Dong Joo Joo with her bow & arrows.

I as well enjoyed moonlight first half of the show until they dumbed down Kim Yoo Jung’s character and made her character mostly useless. And then it became mostly the Park Bo Gum show. Still she really shined on the first half.

I’m loving Dong Joo being all badass with her fiery temper and fast talking wit. Kim So Hyun always shines as an actress and I’m loving this character right off the bat. The poster is gorgeous and the leads are well balanced with each other.
