K-actor Go Kyung Pyo Discharged From Military Service

The first big name K-star military discharge of 2020 honor goes to actor Go Kyung Pyo, who finished up his two years of mandatory service this week. His enlistment was rather low key and honestly I didn’t quite feel the gap left by his departure and that was due to his star rising just to the level of getting his own male lead roles but not quite there yet. He remains best known for his role in Answer Me 1988, a solid performance in a great ensemble cast and even better a truly awesome script and directing. He’s talented and hardworking so I’m sure he’ll pick up where he left off and the year is yet young so it’s fairly certain he’ll find a drama or movie to dive into for 2020.
