Bwahahahaha, OMG wiping away tears here. The first teaser is out for upcoming jTBC second chance drama 18 Again and its come out of nowhere level funny. Like, was not expecting this. The first half of the teaser has leads Kim Ha Neul and Yoon Sang Hyun seriously with melo music galore discussing the failure of their marriage and she’s done with him. He pleads and pleads and then suddenly turns into his teen version played by Lee Do Hyun, complete with high school uniform, saying the exact same things to Kim Ha Neul. Except this time it’s so awkward and inappropriate and the reactions of the other diners are what nails this vignette. The men giving Kim Ha Neul thumbs up for nailing the fresh young meat, per Chinese slang, and the lady going “oh my god” with utter judgment. And the scene goes on with Lee Do Hyun shouting “I love you” over and over and Kim Ha Neul once had a teacher-student love in K-drama Romance so this feels like an added layer of meta.
