Third time may not be the charm for sci-fi Korean movie Space Sweepers (Spaceship Victory). The movie has been delayed twice now due to COVID-19 shut downs and limitations at movie theaters, first in March and then later again in August. Some Korean movies have premiered and within the context of limited seating still managed to do well, but this was a big budget tent pole type of movie and with so much special effects the budget was quite large and would need significant ticket sales to recoup and even make money. But with COVID-19 end nowhere in sight, the production team revealed this week that it was exploring a multitude of premiere options including airing it on Netflix. Don’t knock Netflix, so many incredibly well made movies have premiered exclusively on the streaming platform but the licensing sales price to Netflix would have to be high for Space Sweepers to make that jump. I could see a combination release structure which could set the stage for other movies in the near term.

Off-topic, KTR looks like SHK from distant. LOL! Did the stylist make it intentional?
Seriously? I don't see the resemblance.
Yes, when I first saw Kim Tae-Ri in her other movie, I also find she looks alike Song Hyo Kyo.
I will watch PSH's movie "Call" on Netflix. I'll pass on this one.
Shut it
So will I. It's giving me GOTG + Firefly ripoff vibes. Dreads? Sigh.

Film production needs alot of funds indeed. i read few months back about this movie resorting into crowdfunding for additional resources.
