  2. Kim Young-dae just confirmed taking the second lead role for School 2021 on KBS2. I guess he saw value in the brand and in playing the bad boy. Too bad, he’s second lead to a mere idol and he passed on the chance to graduate to main lead status, pair up with Seo Hyun-jin and have a better likelihood of decent ratings at SBS.

    • I have to say this is a baffling career move by Kim Young Dae. Picking a “School” installment over a leading role with an A list actress? Especially with his current surge in popularity after Penthouse? Moreover I can’t imagine a Hwang In Yeob and Seo Hyun Jin pairing anyway it’s just such an odd casting choice.

    • Ikr. I was wondering about the reason. 2nd lead for an idol who isnt good at acting lol. Such a downgrade. I mean, he’s more popular than that idol!

Btw I just know that SHJ is an A list actress. I thought not every female lead is A list. I only know some names when it comes to A list. But she has many great dramas under her belt tho.

  3. Erm… A romance between professor and student? I’m getting the icky vibes already. Will reserve judgment until I read the full summary.

  4. Uhhh not feeling so hot with the professor-student romance. Can we do away with this icky premise in kdramaland.

  5. I will probably watch it if they go the dark side of this kind of story….like about the power imbalance between the couple (she is his prof right?) but the way kdramas usually go….I mean, look at I can hear your voice
