K-actor Junho (Lee Jun Ho) is one of those rare double Baeksang winners in that he won two awards in the same year ceremony. It’s happened before but he hit that sweet spot of being a first time Best Actor drama nominee and winning for The Red Sleeve Cuff and also being so popular it was a runaway win for Most Popular. He’s already signed on for his next drama King the Land with Yoona but he either has extra time in his filming and CF schedule or somehow he’s going to make time because K-ent is reporting that he’s in talks for another K-drama. It’s called Unwritten Law and is about the romance between a man in the dark and an unknown musical stage actress. It was a project originally planned as a movie but now changed to a 6-episode streaming drama. His agency confirms Junho is considering the offer but no decision yet. In the meantime, this week he posted new SNS pics posing with his two Baeksang awards as a thanks to his fans.

I may have missed 16 years before discovering him but I’m still very grateful of knowing him. I can only exclaim; What a talented man! He’s the real deal.
This drama sounds interesting. I wonder when is this drama going to be released should he decide to take it on.
I have never been a fan girl before in my long life as a drama watcher . I followed 2nd generation k pop groups years ago but I was never a loyal fan.
But Junho wakes up my inner fangirl and I am following this man everywhere now.

I wouldn’t call it an exaggeration, the media did report that he received more than 80 scripts after TRS to choose from. That’s pretty massive. Couple that with his plethora of CFs, Junho’s def South Korea’s current IT-boy.
And, the scripts mentioned that he received was after TRS only. Imagine the scripts he received after winning Korean PD Awards & Baeksang Arts Best Actor Awards.
Hmm. Wouldn’t Lim Young W00ng be Koreas current It boy? He has the million + album sales, and broad appeal. I like Junh0 a lot but it’s JYP whose pushing him more now. Even Joo W0n got 100 scripts when he finished his enlistment. It’s used as a media play, let’s see if he can headline another series that hits it big.
He is a double Baeksang Arts awardee; Best Actor & Most Popular Actor. That’s a fact that you can’t dispute.
He’s presented with many scripts right after TRS the getting after KR PD & Baeksang Awards. He’s big CF deals.
As an actor and singer, he’s here to stay in along long haul. He’s one of the rarest talents who is excellent in acting, dancing, amazing singer-performer and a brilliant composer.
@Ok Yeah, Idk who Lim Yoon woung is and I’m sure he’s successful too but like Hazel mentioned, Junho is now a Baeksang and PD award winner. He has both the industry and public support as an actor. Claiming that his popularity is supported by JYP is completely baseless lol when has JYP ever gone out of their way to promote him unless it’s a project he was already a part of? Also your last sentence is needlessly condescending? Let’s see if he can headline another series that big? Lol its 2022 even Son Yejin and Song Hyekyo couldn’t single handedly bring in ratings. Let’s stop putting that needless pressure on actors and just hope the overall performance of their drama productions are good.

Hahaha spot on regarding the narrative of JYP pushing this wave of Junho popularity.
JYP can’t very well push the ratings of TRS. Nor can they push the awards that Junho has gotten recently received. Nor can they make companies make offers for him to be a model. Nor can they push his name to become no.1 (1 month and near the top there within) in idol brand ranking. Nor can they make production make script offers. Nor make him 1 of the top searched idol in YT for first half of 2022. They can’t very well do all those things for him.
But there will always be naysayers and those people who will always undervalue him. But his body of work will represent him.
@Shrug Thanks for the polite response. It was more as a fan seeing someone blow up, it’s both great and a tad bittersweet. As someone said, I do miss his idol days and hope he makes music again.
As for Jyp, I did notice they started to promote him more than when he was an idol lol. It was him going up hugely salary wise, and worried it would put him in a hard position in not feeling overwhelmed. Good point about pressures actors face, it’s definitely not an easy job.
@Ok It’s not fair to devalue Junho’s efforts. JYPE did very little other than providing him support. The moment he was released from the military he went straight promoting himself by appearing in several tv & online programs. He was never complacent and really went out personally.

I only have one wish for him that is he gets a better co star. And if possible please scrap that drama with Yoona. She barely has chemistry with her ok partners and even the plot seems quite trash
His schedule has been full of CFs. And I am just so happy that he makes time for vlogs to give updates to his fans on things he is doing.
And I just want to say that I love actor Junho but I miss idol Junho. But seeing his name attached to another project makes it clear that 2023 would probably be the realistic projection if he or 2pm would make a comeback (especially with Taec currently filming for a drama too.)

Just seeing him chilling out with other 2pm members in their YT channel will be a treat for me! Seems like Wooyoung and Jun.K will be more in charge musically for their cb prep in the future as Junho Taec and Chansung (with his marriage and yet to be born baby) will likely busier with their acting venture, and Nichkhun kinda globe-trotting with his projects.
Junho music is probably for his solo album. Since 2pm had a comeback, it’s right for Junho to recommence his solo music before doing another group comeback.

I kinda feel like there were plans for some of 2pm members solo CB, especially with Junho. He did mention in his Paldo fan meeting yesterday that it’s hard to plan under circumstances. I guess its the covid thing… maybe…

I want Lee JunHo be partnered with Lee Se Young again please..They make a great couple/team together.We miss them together on TV/kdrama.
Junho is unmatched. I watched him in Rain or Shine and was impressed. A few weeks later, I started watching Red Sleeve and Googled the Cast. I was shocked to see Junho was playing the lead. He was so ‘in character’ in Red Sleeve that I didn’t recognize him at first! IMHO, he is in a class all by himself! I cannot think of any actor, from any county, that is as good! He was just ‘born’ to act.
