The air is cooling down as the Indian Summer wraps up and with it a summer of lots of good and bad buzz with C-dramas. I don’t know when the next high profile one will drop but plenty are filming and that includes Fox Spirit Matchmaker. This drama is foremost anticipated because its the live action adaptation of a mega popular manhua turned animated series. So even without leads Yang Mi and Gong Jun the devoted fans of the source story are waiting with bated breath to see if the cast and production does right by the original. The production released a set of full cast stills this week along with pictures from the filming commencement ceremony, all prayers for a safe shoot and of course that the end product is a hit. Me too, drama gods! In terms of the stills, it’s super colorful and Yang Mi’s Tu Shan Hong Hong is for the first time not seen only in red and Gong Jun’s hairstyle is getting positive feedback for changing up his usual period drama look.
