On one hand this drama has a lot at stake but then perhaps it has nothing at all. Filming has wrapped for K-drama Youth, Climb the Barrier which is the literal title and I’m sure there will be a much more smooth sounding one when promo time comes around. Starring Park Hyung Sik and Jeon So Nee, the drama has been bandied about as the K-drama version of The Golden Hairpin, a C-novel which was slated to have a huge high profile C-drama adaptation that got shelved because the male lead went to jail for actual crimes. Like, it’s so bad. Anyways, the novel is super beloved among C-readers so everyone was excited for the drama adaptation so now we can only look forward to the K-drama version. So far there has been zip, zero, nada promos for this drama but once it gets a time slot I’m looking forward to see what the production has in store.
