Another cute young pairing is coming in 2023 this one with Kim So Hyun and Minhyun, the former taking off with a new agency and the latter leaning in more on his budding acting career. The drama is called Useless Lies and tells of a woman with the ability to tell if someone is lying or not and a man accused of murder but claims he is innocent. Sounds like a thriller with simmering romance underneath of in fact the guy is NOT guilty. The drama doesn’t have a network yet with the PD of Love in Contract, My Roommate is a Gumiho, and 100 Days My Prince.
Ever since I saw Alchemy I’ve wanted Jaewook and Minhyun to be leading men to Sohyun so this is great news as far as I’m concerned. Its been a long time since she’s been paired opposite an idol actor even though his group is now disbanded. He’s not much of an actor admittedly but he has a nice guy persona which is easy to like and their visual combination is going to be smoldering. Sometimes I just want to watch a drama for pretty visuals so this one is right up my alley.

Honestly Kim Sohyun never disappoints with her choice of dramas so I’m excited for both. It’s amazing how she always manages to pick out such a diametrically different characters and dramas even when the genres fell overlapping. Glad to have her back after 2 years.
Both dramas sound great but this one is a full 16 episodes so I’m a bit more excited for this one but how great is it that we get 2 dramas again for So Hyun. 2023 can’t come soon enough.
I am still not sure about the male lead but yeah ksh is always welcome. Finally we are going to see her on our screen. As for plot wise, I am kinda sucker for Friends to lover plot, so I am really excited for Is it fate and very satisfied with Chae jeong hyeop as the ml.

Second, working with LEB and PHR as guest or supporting role cannot be counted as an achievement because those are not lead roles.
Third, she has less CFs simply because advertisers don’t see her as money maker for their brands.
Fourth, I laughed so hard at the VAN and security things. I do not know that is a measure of being a big star.
Last, she is not highest paid among her peers. There is no reliable source for that claim. If that is true, she is listed in Forbes Korea Celebrity Power Ranking which accounts fees and/or earnings in their ranking.
