  2. Bai Lu has a amazing ability to make her co-stars feel comfortable and relaxed around her… I am looking to watch a more different side of Yang Yang whilst staring as her male lead.

  3. This is likely true, but far from the “biggest melon”. It doesn’t even compare to You Are My Glory or A Dream of Splendor’s casting.

  4. I first watched her with Ren Jia Lun on their 2 back-to-back dramas Forever and Ever and One and Only. Those were great dramas for me and even watched them a few more times. I have a soft spot for both of them coz of these dramas, although I haven’t watched any of their dramas separately. Bailu had a short starring role in Xiao Zhan’s Ace Troops. I heard she had an explosive chemistry with Xiao Zhan, even for that short role, so it can be a good pairing. Right now I can’t picture her with Yang Yang, but it can work, too, who knows. But truly, I’d love to see her in a modern drama with Chen Xiao (of Dream of Spendor). She has that matured aura in her, despite her age, that seemed fitting in a modern scene.

For Yang Yang, I haven’t really liked his dramas after Love 020. None of them really made a meaningful difference for me. His custom dramas of late were the worse. So, yah, it’d be good if he finds and does something that will work.

Billing wise? Yang Yang should be 1st billing.

  5. this drama has so much drama over the billing and it’s why I don’t like watching liuliang dramas lol iirc this drama was originally rumored to star Bailu and Tan Jianci and fans were fighting over who would get top billing. Then, Tan was no longer being rumored and there were accounts saying the drama was being re-written to focus on the FL so Bailu would get top billing. Then we have this YY rumor and now apparently he’s not starring in it and it’s going to be Ou Hao instead. liuliang fans are so tiring with their constant fighting over billing.
