Joseon Lee Se Young Finds Her Husband Bae In Hyuk Again in Modern Times in First Teaser for The Story of Widow Park’s Marriage Contract — 7 Comments

  1. I know she’s not doing bad or anything, but I’ll always be sad that her career didn’t take off the same way Junho did after The Red Sleeves, despite being excellent in her role. I kind of blame the writer for this, they put all the focus on Junho’s character and gave him all the epic moments. What’s ironic is that Red Sleeves was supposed to be about the story of court ladies or something like that, and of course, in the end, it has to be about the male lead again. Sigh…

Just to be clear, I love Junho as well, and he very much deserves all the accolades because he’s a very talented actor (didn’t even know he started as an idol!), but I just wish he and Se Young enjoyed equal acclaim for their performances 🙁

    • I know what you mean. It’s a shame she doesn’t seem to have reaped as many benefits as the male lead even though she was as important for the success of the drama 🙁

  2. I have had a soft spot for her since I first saw her in A Korean Odyssey. She was great in the Red Sleeve, but I was not a fan of her last drama with Lee Seunggi. I hope she got a better script this time.
