Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung Bring Youthful Charm to the Script Reading for SBS Fantasy Romance Drama My Demon — 7 Comments

  1. Seems like Song Kang is the Robert Pattinson of korea. Robert also started as an ok actor who has luck on his side. He just need to take various roles that will eventually hone his skills

    • I’m sorry but I don’t think they’re really comparable. Good for Song Kang for picking non-romance projects here and there and good for him for being able to pair with top leading ladies, but Pattinson is an actual critically acclaimed actor now. Meanwhile Song Kang still has a long way to go.
Sure, Pattinson started off with two pretty-boy roles in HP and Twilight series, but he immediately followed those up with “serious” projects and showed everyone he’s not to be underestimated. So far, SK is still mostly going for romance dramas and he’s not even considered a great actor by Koreans. Maybe in the future, but as for now…

IDK, the Pattinson comparison is just so random to me lol

      • Robert was also criticized during the early part of his career. He took a stepback to take indie projects for a decade to be an actor that he is right now.
I guess I’m just comparing them having the same luck/ fame even if their projects bomb or criticized?

  2. He should gain some weight to look more manly .He seems so skinny next to KYJ . Robert Pattinson’s look or Theo James helped them to get roles , they aren’t bad but they aren’t like Paul Dano( Little miss sunshine , There will be blood, Prisoners,…) Miles Teller(The spectacular now, Whiplash,…who are really good actors . One who was good with incredible looks is Jaimie Dornan in The Fall , A lot of people like Thimothée Chalamet but i prefer Vincent Lacoste
