Filming to Begin for Period C-drama Wan Xin Ji with Li Qin and Chen Zhe Yuan with Up-and-coming Supporting Leads Xiao Meng and Chen He Yi

Casting has been completed just in time for the kick off of filming for C-drama Wan Xin Ji (绾心记) starring Li Qin and Chen Zhe Yuan. The supporting leads are quite young and in the up-and-coming category with Xiao Meng and Chen He Yi. Not much to say about this yet, glad all the Chen Zhe Yuan casting and billing status issues from earlier this year has died down, and Li Qin continues to just pick good dramas more than her bad ones, for every Thousand Years for You she has The Youth Memories, War of Faith, and Joy of Life seasons 1 and 2. I think seeing the first drama stills will give a better indication of what to expect.

  2. Li Win can’t carry a drama. All those other dramas were carried by someone else.

And now this pairing? They don’t mash at all.

  3. Chen Zheyuan…It will be interesting to see how he pick up from his career. His team really tarnished his reputation in the industry and investors.

  4. Is Li Qin 1st billed or nah?

You’re telling me after all that billing drama with actresses bigger than him like Dilireba and Jing Tian, Chen Zheyuan is now obediently staying in his lane as 2nd billed?

    How anticlimactic…

Btw Xiao Meng kinda looks like Angelababy

    • I am actually relieved he settled for this than the drama with Dilraba. Nothing against Dilraba but I just can’t watch her dramas. She cannot act and I feel she drags down her male costars. She doesn’t seem to mesh or have chemistry with any of her costars.

      • I feel the way you described about Li Qin. I honestly can’t stand her acting. I would love to watch another CZY drama but not enough to watch Li Qin. Hard pass from me.

      • Raba did have chemistry with Yang Yang in You Are My Glory. But that’s it! I agree with you.

Like Gong Jun, it would be better for Raba to thrive in modeling business and variety shows rather than take up resources in drama field. Neither of them is a good actor.

      • @Somebody tell your dear Wang Xing Yue to do the same. He is a beauty without talent. You fool yourself into believing that he has acting chops. He is useless in The Double, I dropped it for him. Women like you should be in the kitchen, you contribute nothing.

      • Dumb @Somebody you should wish the same for your dear Wang Xing Yue who only has beauty to back himself up. You delude yourself into believing he has acting chops. Delusional you and those who support him.

      • @SCHI/SCHL Dude. You can’t even type your username correctly. Take your misogyny somewhere else.

      • @SCHL/SCHI …. You think women who cooks in the kitchen dont contribute anything?? You must eat raw grass since birth… As for comment on @Somebody, I am certain she is a fan of Xiao Zhan…unsure why you say Wang Xing Yue is her dear?? Must have too much raw grass in your head…

    • @SCHL @SCHI Resorting to sexist comments in order to hate the women who appreciate an actor who actually is doing a good job is low behavior. You can go to Chinese forums, there your horrible heart will be welcome.

  5. @Xoxo
Yes, LQ annoys me. I didn’t like her in JOL or the The Wolf. But she’s a wee bit better than Dilraba and can have chemistry with her costars. She just needs to stop with the saccharine smiles and ‘underact’ I felt she got better in the later half of The Wolf.
I am going to watch this for CZY. I thought he was great in Hidden Love tho his character got a bit too smug in the end which was a pity.

Yeah you used the right word ‘annoy’. There are some actresses I love, some I merely like and others I’m indifferent to. Li Qin annoys me somehow and I just find myself dropping her dramas like a hot potato. As for Dilraba, initially I couldn’t stand her, but after watching her in The Long Ballad and You Are My Glory, I became a fan. However, I understand that her acting is not for everyone.

  6. I’m glad Li Qin is back to doing costume dramas instead of the communist dramas she’s been doing the past two years.
