A Moment But Forever with Tang Yan and Liu Xue Yi Tentatively Slotted to Air Next Month in December 2024
The number of dramas arriving next month in December 2024 has increased yet again, with news that iQiyi will release A Moment But Forever. It feels like a lifetime ago it seems when this drama was announced but it actually filmed last year but that was prior to female lead Tang Yan‘s big career break this year with Blossoms Shanghai. Now her team is not expecting much from this drama and may even want to distance her from it if the reception isn’t good so as to not dull her current shine. Male lead Liu Xue Yi will have had three dramas aired this year which is great for his career but the trajectory may be going downward in terms of how well each did one after the other. But maybe having low expectations is a good thing, this could end up a surprise.
Visually at least they look a great match. I like them both, so I hope this drama to be decent enough.
Also, Liu Xueyi must be one of the most handsome actors in China. I was watching his entry in In Blossom, where the crowd is going all “oh Mr Pan Yue, the most handsome man in the kingdom” and I was like yeah, for once the casting is matching the role!
He is very good looking, I rememberb him in another drama and remembered he outshown the ML and wished he had a bigger role. He is definitely a late bloomer! I would argue though that YanYan might be a tiny bit better looking. It’s the eyes. They both have gorgeous eyes!!!
I wonder if this will be good? Tang Yan earn high rating with Blossom Shanghai…hope this new drama will be good for her.
Liu Xueyi is steadily working his way up the ranks.

Talking about upcoming dramas…the one I am really looking forward to is ‘Brocade Odyssey’ with Tan Song Yun and Zheng Ye Cheng.
I heard brocade is aring 1130 and zyc is in this drama too as special guest

Ever since I saw Liu Xue Yi in Ancient Love Poetry playing Tianqi opposite one of my other favorites Xu Kai as Bai Jue and Zhou Dongyu as Shanggu I have been obsessed with him. I love watching him and he has those dimples so I am so happy to see three dramas already playing so I gotta catch up. I just started Kill Me, Love Me and he is opposite one of my favorite female leads, yep that was Wu Jin(? probably spelled it wrong 😐) anyway Dongyu has become my number 1 and Wu Jinyan is My second. I have watched ALP so many times and every time I still tear up at certain places and still can’t keep my eyes of the beautiful Tianqi ! Yes Bai Jue has competition! LOL
