Zhao Lu Si Continues Her Daily Livestreams to Increasing Viewership But Still No Movement on Her Demand for Contract Termination with Her Agency — 19 Comments

  1. More like her real intention is marketing. Doctors report is more like a disclaimer in case things don’t turn out the way they’ve planned.

  2. Anyone who doesn’t understand this is pure marketing is either a blinded stan or a child.

She would have turned to the law if she had anything.

Of course apart from her stans and delusional international fans, nobody in China is actually buying this performance. They watch it for the drama lol

  3. @koala
Thanks Koala for your constant updates.

Yes. Let her vent her anger. Zhao Lu Si is not doing anything that other influencers are not doing. If there’s no truth in what she said, the agency would have sacked her and kicked her out. Instead they keep quiet and try to milk her again and again by making her work like a slave dog or cold storage her to make her yield to their demands.

Also, she has lots of celebrity friends giving her verbal and silent support. If she truly lied, they would have called her out on it. Except for people affected, nobody countered her claims.

She studied in Taiwan so her views are more liberal and that’s why she is more outspoken than the rest. But the world prefers a person to be bullied than to speak out. And they hate people who air their view and pains to the world.

This is a fair world. Everyone has a right to air their views. If the agency treated her so well, why was her schedule packed more than other celebrities? Outcomes are clear. She was forced to act, attend events non stop. It’s driving her mad and exhausted, to the brink of incapacitation. If she is pretending to be ill, why is there no proof coming forward to deny her illness?

It’s okay not to like her acting or her, but it’s not okay to keep bashing and bullying someone online.

    • She studied in Taiwan because she was too dumb and a horrible student, so that was her only option.

People forget but desperate illiterate was about two people, not just one. Wang Yibo and yes, Zhao Lusi.

  4. No matter what her motivation behind this really is, it once again highlights the issues with contract legislation. How can there be contracts that cannot be terminated by either side provided that they are willing to pay the penalties for early termination?
There are too many artists who are kept in a stranglehold by their agencies that either put them in sub-par dramas, or get them typecast in always the same type of role, or work them to death by having them film back to back.
If agencies had to keep their actors happy (by developing their career instead of forcing them to do one mediocre drama after another) it would certainly go a long way to improve the overall quality of Chinese dramas, because those with bad scripts or low production quality could no longer get the high profile actors that are fed to them by money-grabbing agencies that don’t care about the artists’ career at all.

    • What are you talking about, of course she can terminate if she pays the penalty. That is the problem, she doesn’t want to so we get this performance.

      • She wants to terminate but she can’t even get in contact with the company. She is working with the lawyers but even that process can take several years.

      • @Sammy

        No, sorry, that is nonsense.

She doesn’t need to contact her agency to file a lawsuit. She addresses the courts. Once the lawsuit is filed, the agency will be forced to engage in the process. It is also false that it takes years, it absolutely does not.

She also claimed they conducted a exorcism which is actually a criminal act in Chinese law which means all she has to do is take this evidence she claims to have and walk into a police station with her lawyer. At that point, the state takes over in a criminal investigation and prosecution.

She isn’t doing any of that because all of this is marketing and nothing more to try and force the agency to wave the massive termination fee she would have to pay as well as up her image.

If Lusi wants to terminate her contract and she have evidence to support her claims, IT WILL NOT TAKE SEVERAL YEARS to draft a DEMAND LETTER OR A PRE-COMPLAINT document. Lusi is just bluffing and going public to get sympathize from people like you. She wants to terminate the contract in which she legally signed willingly- she wants a free way out. Lusi has no work ethics, not surprise since she just have a look but considered as a hopeless illiterate. If she really want to terminate her contract with all the supporting documents and her trying to contact that agency but NO response, her lawyer, if she have a lawyer- should already file a formal complaint or a lawsuit. BUT NO, SHE JUST KEEP ON TALKING NONSENSE. SHE WONT SUE HER AGENCY BECAUSE SHE DOESNT HAVE EVIDENCE OF ABUSED BUT SHE WANTS TO TERMINATE THE CONTRACT THAT SHE SIGNED BUT SHE DONT LIKE TO PAY. SEEMS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL OF HER.

Maybe the reason why the agency is just doing nothing right now is to make it look like Lusi is creating an incite and if that happens, say goodbye to your career Lusi. The best thing she should do is shut her mouth and do the necessary things if she really wants to terminate the contract.

  6. I’m surprised she did not get in some sort of trouble or repercussions with her agency thus far. Guess that means they are letting her blow steam.

  7. You need to step out of the ZLS fan circle if you think her schedule was packed more than other celebrities. Plenty of other Chinese celebrities have grueling, packed schedules. This is how the industry works.

  8. Why are you guys so mean to her. I’m an outsider looking in. She had some really bad trauma under this agency. Things we don’t see. Perhaps it’s more of an emotional kind of blackmail. Who knows. She turn to talk about while streaming. May be her way of letting off steam. And she did a lot of good to those vendors selling the things she shared online. To me she is incredible.

  9. She looks cute in her livestream shorter hair. She must be one of those blessed ones who doesn’t need long flowing locks to look nice

  10. Honestly, this is childish. When you signed the contract, you get a lawyer and you signed that agreement. When you want to get you, you gather ur evident and you get your lawyer to get out w/ the least amount of violation. One would think, she went back so she can get more evident, but w/ her behavior it seems she found nothing and now left w/ her words against theirs.

When I watched her online live, she comes off as mockery/proud/ and not really sad or horrified by the company. I’m confident there’s causes that you can’t defame the company or your image either. She better be careful because it might just be her that paying $ defaming the company along w/ contract violation.

    • When it’s all done and said, the followers will simply increase.

It’s a tested and trusted method by her and her company.

She needs to keep trending because the industry is moving .

      Livestream for almost a week?
      It’s her drama

I keep asking what did she mean by saying she has a bad inner core and doesn’t care the outcome?

The company is simply paying the price for all the dirty works they’ve been doing to get her to where she is. That is if it’s not all a sham.

You don’t want your fans to be bothered but you keep complaining,

Since she has this strength 💪 she can continue. She is simply marketing for hercfs.

Let non fans like me mind better things and leave her in her world.

  11. I feel like yes, she’s been mistreated and that needs to be addressed, but I also worry that she may be spiraling and getting terrible advice at the same time. Daily livestreams seem excessive, even with the fast pace of cdramaland. I don’t want her to end up going through the mental struggles Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Amanda Bynes had been through
