Netflix Fantasy Drama Genie, Make a Wish with Kim Woo Bin and Suzy Release Tons of New Stills Switching Gears From Weird and Goofy to Showcasing Interesting Characters — 2 Comments

  1. Many familiar faces in the cast. They are good actors. Genie is perhaps the one show I’m excited about the most with very high expectation. With a slew of highly anticipated K dramas failing to satisfy me one by one this year, I make a wish to Genie to treat me well. LOL.

My expectation was held high starting from underwhelming Dear Hongrang, then disappointing Good Boy which was poorly written and how wasteful for a talented cast, and followed by Disney+ Tempest. I’m currently watching Tempest which started promising and intriguing, but the intensity is getting diluted with slower pace. I’m still watching Tempest mainly for Jun Ji-hyun’s acting and her incredible chemistry with hot LOL Gang Dong-won. Both JJH and GDW are excellent actors; they are the epicenter of Tempest sucking up all my attention. I just don’t care about the rest of the drama that much, and the plot is completely leftard BS TO BE HONEST. LOL.

Given that KES’s scripts rarely disappointed me, I bet on Genie to bring some magic to a tad boring Kdramaland this year. Hope it premieres soon.
