Hyun Bin and Jung Woo Sung’s Disney+ Drama Made in Korea Holds Rare Television Star-studded Premiere with Lee Min Ho and Jang Geun Seok Among Others Attending
At least Disney+ won’t be accused of going cheap or not supporting its upcoming big budget high profile K-drama Made in Korea. While K-dramas normally hold press conferences with the leads ahead of premiere, this time the event was at the same level as a typical movie premiere. Made in Korea joint male leads Hyun Bin and Jung Woo Sung led the star-studded movie theater airing of the first two episodes of the drama which was attended by a slew of famous K-stars in support. Lee Min Ho was there along with surprise unexpected sighting of his same gen male actor Jang Geun Seok, while Park Ji Hyun was the most recognizable actress in attendance for me. Made in Korea will premiere on December 24th just in time for Christmas break binging.

Jung Woo Sung still looks amazing! Would love to see him and Son Yeh Jin star together again. Their movie, A moment to remember was beautiful and tragic. They made such a beautiful screen couple. Would love to see a happy ever after for them on screen.
LMH is hit hard by ahjussi age, meanig he doesn’t age well.
Yikes, the wardrobe too casual sloppy.
lol, which part of the guest is star studded??? JGS is considered a nobody now, PJH is not that big yet.
OMG JGS and LMH my intro to Kdrama. Good
Times.
Jung Woo Sung now looks like if Song Kang Ho stayed too long under the sun. They got Hyun Bin and Jung Woo Sung in starring roles and all they can come up for the guest list are has beens and industry unknowns. Thank god for Lee Min Ho at least there is someone with actual name recognition.
I have huge doubts about the success of K-dramas that air on Disney+ because they aren’t marketed very well. I guess them holding a big screen premier for this drama is their attempt at marketing it, even if they couldn’t draw big name attendees aside from LMH.
Only time will tell if this drama succeeds. Director WMH’s last work was Harbin, which was so high-budget that it didn’t even manage to break-even, despite its critical success and high movie ticket sales. So let’s see if this drama can make up for Harbin’s loss.
