Youku Releases First Posters for Filming C-drama The Doll Game with Chen Du Ling and Chen Jing Ke
No wonder every star dreams of a breakout drama, it just catapults to the never level in big swath upward. C-actress Chen Du Ling hit her own homerun with The Glory and now has her top billed modern C-drama titled The Doll Game adapted from the novel 今天也没变成玩偶呢 Today I Have Not Turned into a Doll. It’s a sci-fi apocalyptic story where humanity is forced to play games from a higher power and need to win challenges to survive otherwise gets turned into a doll. If this sounds familiar there is indeed plenty in the survival game genre such as Alice in Borderland and Squid Game. Her male lead is Chen Jing Ke who has really been on a roll of being the male lead to top billed actresses with upcoming dramas opposite Yu Shu Xin and Zhang Jing Ye as well. This drama sounds like a different change of pace from the usual period fare or young love stories so I’m looking forward to checking it out.

I got caught up in afew good quality Vertical short dramas.
Giving me Liar Game vibes the jdrama version with their character look.
As long as the script captivates me, I’ll have a good time. Lol. In the end, I’ve never been able to finish a drama no matter how many outstanding performances there are.
