The is an old-fashion cheating scandal that has exploded in 24-hours to upend HK-entertainment and it’s both totally unsurprising and rather wild. Top singer-actor Andy Hui was caught cheating on his wife also top singer Sammi Cheng, with rising young actress Jacqueline Wong. Tabloid Apple Daily released a 16-minute long dash cam video recording of Andy and Jacqueline in the … Continue reading →
The first thought I had when I saw the drama stills for upcoming KBS Wed-Thurs drama Dan, Only Love is that it was just good enough but not wholly believable. Ballet is an entire body dance form not just going en pointe but from the shoulders to the arm lines to the fingertips, a ballerina lives ballet in her every … Continue reading →
In a turn-around from her red carpet bad dress night at the Hong Kong Film Awards, actress Song Hye Kyo proved that less is more when one simply radiates the aura of a top star. Song Hye Kyo was snapped at Hong Kong airport headed back to Korea after attending the awards ceremony and announcing that she’s signed with top … Continue reading →
I know SHINee‘s Minho (Choi Min Ho) is enlisting towards the end of the age limit rather than early on such as after high school or college for most South Korean non-celebs but he totally gives off that fresh boy going off into the brand new world vibe. This young man has been a member of one of Korea’s most … Continue reading →
The latest previews for Abyss finally give us some OTP interactions and as expected Park Bo Young and Ahn Hyo Seob are A-dorable with a capital A. After dying unexpectedly, each is reborn via the mysterious Abyssian jewel that glows like the Eye of Sauron, but apparently is quite petty because it changes the person’s outward appearance depending on their … Continue reading →
I’ve never seen K-actor Jung Hae In as a sexy, always the sweet boy next door, but the first stills of him from MBC romance drama Spring Night turn him into stuffy ahjusshi territory. I’m sure it’s part of his character persona but the plaid shirt buttoned up to the top and vest combo under his pharmacist white coat definitely … Continue reading →
It’s so frustrating whomever dressed top K-actress Song Hye Kyo for the 2019 star-studded Hong Kong Film Awards. She was wearing a heavy black gown with long sleeves dug out from Mortitia Adam’s closet and paired with a grandmotherly middle parted bun hair, I’m wondering if her coordi is secretly her anti. I’m guessing the intention was to direct ALL … Continue reading →
The latest news is no bueno for actor-singer Park Yoochun. After holding a teary preemptive press conference claiming he’s never used drugs and is definitely totally absolute not the “friend” that former fiancee Hwang Hana alleges gave her drugs during her own drug use investigation, the police have announced that they have hard evidence that both did in fact use … Continue reading →
I did notice that K-actor Sung Joon hasn’t been around lately but there wasn’t an enlistment notice by his agency so I wasn’t sure he was in the army. He’s a ’90 line so the deadline wasn’t up yet for him but enlisting a wee bit early is never a bad thing and turns out he did that late last … Continue reading →
The ever wide-spreading scandal with criminal elements involving a spate of K-stars starting from Seungri and Jung Joon Young isn’t just boys behaving badly. There are actual victims known and unknown, and the alleged misconducts in question both break South Korean law and are morally reprehensible. The spreading of sexual images and videos among the various chatrooms first touched upon … Continue reading →
I know spring is here because my allergies will never let me forget it morning, noon, and night. It’s a shame I’m so stuffy because ’tis the season for light dresses and walks in the garden. K-actress Shin Se Kyung does both beautifully in the latest May 2019 Grazia pictorial, evoking an English pastoral scene and lots of feminine dress … Continue reading →
This is actually a highly amusing story due to the timing and the last name in question. Seoul police announced that a “Actor Yang” was arrested yesterday morning around 3 am after being reported for erratic behavior running around outside of a hotel. After being taken to the police station for investigation, he continued to act strangely and spout nonsense … Continue reading →
I’ve been following along with SBS big budget thriller drama Vagabond more closely so when it was pushed back from May to September to accommodate a simulcast on Netflix I was all mopey about the additional wait. I totally forgot that tvN is premiering on June 1 the epic legendary era sageuk drama Asadal Chronicles so seeing the first teaser … Continue reading →
