Would you drink more Guinness because of Jung Woo Sung? Um, oh hells yeah. Speaking strictly for myself, of course. Bringing you the latest CF stills from Jung Woo Sung’s Guinness ad campaign, as well as the first CF shot back in August.

[Edit: oops, the picture is NOT from the drama, but it’s Kim Hyun Joong for another photoshoot – still, he looks grrreat as a bridegroom!] I’ll save it for after the jump in case anyone wants to not be spoiled.
Continue reading →On October 18, 2010, a group of Chinese and Taiwanese singers and entertainers hit the stage in Tokyo, Japan, to perform for the Asia Music Summit. I’m not even going to pretend I know any of the performers, or identify them for you, other than Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin. [Edit: I added two more pictures, including one where the … Continue reading →
I’m way too swamped this morning to recap the long preview for episode 15 of Playful Kiss, so I’ll just provide the link for anyone wanting to watch it. Luckily, others have already provided translations in other forums. I’ve not watched the preview, hopefully it’s just a glimpse of the cuteness and satisfaction yet to come.

Continue reading →BFFs Joe Cheng and Mike He are about to go up against each other in competing dramas scheduled to premiere at the end of 2010. I’ve already discussed Joe’s new drama, X Channel, with Amber Kuo (though I just found out its being helmed by the director who did Summer’s Desire – which was a steaming pile of dog feces … Continue reading →
If Kevin Bacon is the center of the Hollywood universe, I’ve yet to find his equivalent in the Asian entertainment world. Since we’ve been on such a Playful Kiss high lately, let’s spend a few minutes with the two young men who have breathed life into the character of Irie Naoki, Joe Cheng and Kim Hyun Joong, and then follow me for … Continue reading →
