Oooooh, I really love this poster. It’s not groundbreaking but it’s very striking and frames the leads beautifully in gorgeous primary colors. MBC‘s next romance drama will be The Spies Who Loved Me, taking over the time slot from When I was Most Beautiful. I haven’t heard much about it as it was quietly filming last few months but it … Continue reading →
The wait was all worth it, that Coffee Prince leads Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun Hye have never worked together again after CP so that we can get this perfect moment. If they worked together again post CP it could be a project that sucks and ruins our memories but now we just take a walk down the memory like … Continue reading →
Big news around K-actor Park Seo Joon this week and both are very positive. He’s revealed to be cameo-ing in the currently airing tvN drama Record of Youth, as he worked with the screenwriter in One Warm Word and also male lead of RoY Park Bo Gum guest starred in his most recent drama Itaewon Class. I feel like the … Continue reading →
Wed-Thurs tvN drama Flower of Evil is in its final bloom, just two more episodes left after today’s episode 14. Truth be told the intensity has waned a bit for, lost the luster of the early Is-He-Isn’t-He mystery along with the conviction that Hyun Soo is the smartest of them all. Episode 14 felt like he was human, just like … Continue reading →
There’s a whole lot of new casting news around upcoming SBS K-drama Joseon Exorcist which had earlier confirmed male leads Jang Dong Yoon and Kam Woo Sung, with Park Sung Hoon as the third male lead. Lee Yoo Bi has been offered the female lead and I love this casting which would be her drama return since A Poem a … Continue reading →
I continue to enjoy tvN Mon-Tues drama Record of Youth but am rather intrigued by the steady ratings increase. It’s gone up in every episode so far and this Tuesday’s episode 4 hit 7.823%. It’s slow and sincere and I enjoy watching male lead Hye Joon, his family and their individual interactions, and the friendship development of the OTP. But … Continue reading →
I don’t even know how to write this post without expletives. A lot of them. I actually wrote it freestyle and just went back and deleted all the F*&ks and F#%k Yous! to 2020. Because this year just keeps getting worse and worse in ALL aspects of life and world news and society news and even entertainment industry news. After … Continue reading →
The cast of 2007 K-drama Coffee Prince is one of the most successful collection of actors and actresses, on top of the drama being a ratings hit and Hallyu winner. Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun Hye followed up CP with many more hits and all the supporting stars have gone on to become leads in their own right including Lee … Continue reading →
This coming weekend’s new episodes of OCN drama Missing: The Other Side will be preempted due to the earlier production halt to slow down a COVID-19 resurgence. That means follow up drama Search will add another week before its premiere on October 24th, just in time to deliver some scares before Halloween. The production released three new posters and two … Continue reading →
I continue like but not yet love tvN Mon-Tues drama Record of Youth. I’m more curious over how Park Bo Gum as Hye Joon can keep hard carrying a drama this successfully, as episode 3 increased from last week to hit 7.200% AGB nationwide viewership. Well okay, he had a bit of help from Grandpa as viewers are living their … Continue reading →
It feels like the worst type of repeat reporting, that a K-ent star has passed away unexpectedly. Supporting actress Oh In Hye has been confirmed deceased after being found unresponsive over the weekend and rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately medical assistance could not revive her and early Tuesday morning she passed. She did movies and a small role in one … Continue reading →
Cools beans, I love this casting news! K-actress Seo Hyun Jin is in talks to make a K-drama comeback in early 2021 with the show You are My Spring Day. It’s from the screenwriter of Bubblegum and the PD of The King: Eternal Monarch and Mr. Sunshine. I had problems with PD-nim in The King but ultimately chalked it up … Continue reading →
I have to commend the casting director of Flower of Evil, to convince a male lead like Kim Ji Hoon to join the cast as the big bad was a stroke of genius because you need an actor that’s able to match Lee Jun Ki‘s intensity and charisma onscreen. Basically all our worries that Hyun Soo was a serial killer … Continue reading →
