Up on top, female lead Zhang Zi Yi is reportedly not happy either and voiced it openly during the press conference at Cannes, saying her scenes were cut. Director Peter Chan explained he needed to make editing decisions otherwise the movie would be 3 hours plus long. Right now it’s 2.5 hours and the first reviews from Cannes are also not good with the biggest gripe that the movie is…..too long and needs to be cut down probably to under 2 hrs. Lol, I’m dying here all this shit is so funny.
