Dream High is really heating up – both in terms of the pursuit of your musical dreams plotline, and the love triangle plotline. While Jin Gook is going through the ringer, it looks like Sam Dong grows some intensity, and if I were Hye Mi, I’d just sit back and watch the sparks fly. Damn girl, you gotz two amazing guys who want you. *is jealous*

Even though Jin Gook escaped from the airport after considerable effort, he’s too late when he arrives at the meeting place, and Hye Mi has already left. One misunderstanding after another creates a widening distance between Hye Mi and Jin Gook. Sam Dong sees Hye Mi’s hurt over Jin Gook, and it also pains him.
Because of the show case, Baek Hee gets the opportunity to officially debut. During an interview, Baek Hee gives thanks to Hye Mi. Hye Mi sees Baek Hee’s interview, and remembers all the things that have happened between her and Baek Hee during this time. Hye Mi feels like she’s not the heroine, but rather the evil girl who torments the heroine. Hye Mi feels disillusioned in herself.
On the other hand, Pil Sook thinks that Jason may feel the same way about her. She decides to tell Jason how she feels about him…..

My Thoughts:
AHHHH. Misunderstandings! I hate it. I know it’s necessary for plot progression, but I still hate it. On the upside, Pil Sook’s transformation from a shy and introverted girl with low self-esteem into someone willing to take a chance and tell the boy she likes her feelings, that is so heart-warming to see. I’m not sure Jason like her (yet), but he’s a nice enough guy that I hope he lets her down softly if he just wants to be friends for the time being.
Lastly, seeing Sam Dong yell at Hye Mi – be still my heart, Kim Soo Hyun raging is too much hotness for me to handle. The Jin Gook-Hye Mi-Sam Dong love triangle is about to be unleashed in force, and I’m dying for Hye Mi to figure out who she likes. A reminder that episode 8 is not airing tomorrow due to a soccer match, and will instead air next Monday on January 31.

I am pretty worried for Sam Dong – not because he might get his heart broken (because let’s face it, high school romance is hardly forever) but because of the whole ‘he is having problems hearing’ thing they introduced in ep 7, probably due to Baekhee’s potted plant activities (if something does happen to him and it’s her fault – ugh ugh ugh).
This is one drama where I hope a plot element is introduced and then promptly dropped, i.e. Sam Dong’s little hearing problem.
I’m still wrapping my mind around how anybody can say that when Baek Hee and her potted plant of injury and/or death went over the ledge, because she did not INTEND to kill anyone, then its okay. Like, so she wasn’t homocidal, but merely sociopathic (i.e. she didn’t consider or care about the potential consequences of dropping a potted plant on Hye Mi), and that’s okay?
She needs to do some serious groveling for me to ever not want to shove her into the nearest outhouse. Oh my poor baby SD, maybe having hearing problems because of a potted plant is so cruel!
It’s a kdrama, I am sure there will be plenty of wallowing over SD’s potential injury.
Re: Baekhee. What did she think was going to happen when she dropped that thing on someone’s head? At the very least, Hyemi was going to be badly injured. You don’t get off a criminal murder charge by saying “I thought it would only maim them.” I mean – WTF! It’s even scarier if she just did it as an impulse “I am annoyed” thing without thinking of the consequences for a second – that way lie that kid in the news last year (I think) for killing someone because he wanted his cheeseburger.

it looks like that HM will be JG at the end cos they not together now so the writers will do everything to make their love story longer where we will b frustrated and angry and u no how asian dramas r like the main girl like one guy then the next like they need to go though a pace of different guys in order to no which 1 is for them which usually is first guy so i think cos she with SD now later on she will reliase that she loves her childhood friend or (sweetheart JD) i hope it does not take long for them to make up their mind and spare the other guy feelings before its not late
i knew jason will not feel the same way bout pil sook cos it was too predictable for me where he plays nice guy who see her as a friend not a lover (seen too many english dramas like that) IU is playing a girl who is not typical beautiful girl who is not into her looks but he soon reliase that her heart is beautiful that inside count than the outside he will sooner or later fell in love with her maybe when she goes out with someone esle and makes him jealous lol 🙂 i hope she does not have a huge makeover for jason cos i like who she is now so i hope they change little not too much then they saying to views that u need to b a pretty girl in order to get guy which is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m not liking the whole love triagle, coz I doubt very much that HM is gonna end up with SD and even though I do really like JG, I feel so sad already for SD. His absolutely adorable, but we girls love ourselves a bad guy, dont’t we 😉
I really really hope too that SD is ok and they dropthe plot line of him losing his hearing. If the writers go all typical kdrama on us and kill off SD or give him cancer I think I’ll start pulling my hair out in angry frustration and start hating KBS (Susi, I totally hear you on MSOAN and Cinderella sister). Also, anyone else finding it a little strange how they didn’t pursue the flower pot matter any further? I mean someone purposely dropped heavy pottery from the roof and the poor boy was knocked out cold with possible brain damage! I know it’s a drama and all, but I hope they bring it up later coz I found that a little hard to swallow.
At the moment I’m more interested in the Pil Sook-Jason paring too. They’re just so cute together! Just hope she dosn’t suddenly become really skinny and pretty and then he realises he likes her. I’m totally more for the whole realization-of-liking-through-jealousy schematics XD
