Like it or not idol Cha Eun Woo is for sure embarking on the acting path. After his starring turn in My ID is a Gangnam Beauty, he’s now confirmed opposite Shin Se Kyung in MBC sageuk drama Rookie Historian Goo Hye Ryung. Cha Eun Woo’s character is a Joseon prince but a lower born one in the palace, with a secret life outside the palace as a popular romance novelist. He falls in love with the rookie historian who is also his official stalker Goo Hye Ryung, and together they also work towards changing the sexist attitudes in society around educating women. The drama is from the PD of Solomon’s Perjury and airs in July after Spring Night.
