Lee Min Ho and Ji Chang Wook to be Discharged From Military Service End of April 2019

Two more 87-line K-actors are coming back, and hooboy this isn’t the best time to return to K-ent what with the fire power of scandal swirling around. Lee Min Ho and Ji Chang Wook enlisted within days of each other and both will be discharged at the end of April 2019. Ji Chang Wook served in the army performing arts section while Lee Min Ho did public service in Seoul due to an injury suffered from a serious car accident early in his acting career. Some of the other 87-liners who returned in recent months include Joo Won discharged in February and Im Shi Wan who finished just two weeks ago at the end of March. I’m happy to see these pack of actors come back, with Kang Ha Neul also pending discharge at the end of May.

  1. Ji Chang Wook, is he the one with picture taken with Mdm Shin of Burning Sun scandal? I hope there’s nothing to it.

    • JCW has nothing to do with the scandal. He took that picture at the request from a fan. His agency has clarified with a statement, SBS issued a statement saying it was not their intention to tie him with the scandal, and KBS broadcasted on the nightly news about the false rumor! He’s a good egg!

      • Good to know. Thanks for the update.
Too much confusion over the many fast and furious news on Burning Sun scandal, hard to keep up.

      • Just to prevent heartbreak, stop giving love to this celebrity all your great

    • Apparently jcw is close with Lee jonghyun cnblue who been caught in jjy katalk group. Jwc also get nickname ‘crown prince’ of arena club where women being drugged and raped. Just saying. Oh Choi taejoon is also his close friend. Along with Kim raewon. Birds of a feather do flock together.

      • JJY was close to the beloved late actor, Kim Joo Hyuk. Does that mean KJH was a bad person too? Please don’t apply this guilt by association BS because it sets a very dangerous precident and can ruin innocent people’s lives and careers. We cannot forget due process. Until there is concrete evidence, it’s unfair to make these reckless assumptions. God forbid you or someone you love is destroyed by fake news.

      • @Feebee – there is no need to bring up a deceased person who cannot defend for himself. Your mentioning of KJH is so inappropriate and disrespectful! You do not personally know JCW, do you? Just let him defend for himself with his post-MS works. You know nothing about the BS scandal and its association with vast amount of celebrities. Anyone with an inquisitive mind can speculate, you cannot stop others from thinking.

      • @candycane Lol! How did I disrespect KJH? Did I imply that he was guilty? Given how you lost your shit proves my point that it’s so fast to rush to judgement. My message was to address how unfair it is to imply that just because someone is friends with JJY that means they are guilty by association. Anyone has the right to speculate, but when doing so without concrete evidence to back up, it’s no longer speculation but defamation.

      • @candycane Lol! How am I disrespecting KJH and are why are you implying that KJH has to defend himself? Did you even read what I said? Given how you lost your sh!te proves my point at how fast people can rush to judgement. My message was to address the dangers of spreading false information and by assuming that anyone who knows JJY is guilty by association. Anyone has a right to speculate, but doing so without concrete evidence, is no longer harmless speculation but defamation.

      • commenting on a blog (not to the point of accusation) is not calling defamation. My point is you cannot stop people from speculation. Don’t be too sensitive in defending your bias. You only get all the backlashes. Is mentioning a deceased celebrity and cursing with the word “sh_t” your best tactic in stating your point? Bringing KJH to your defense is the same as others mentioning JCW on the other side of the bench. You are also defaming upon proven not guilty.

    • Very, very so excited of JI CHANG WOOK’s return come end of April. Feeling great just knowing he will shortly be seen again in big and small screen! We missed you so much Dookie! God be always with you.

  2. Waiting for KSH; JCW and Kang Ha Neul oh and Taecyeon too and for news of their next drama or movie. Definitely exciting times for 2019 with the return of these actors considering what we’ve had to contend with BS; Illegal sex videos and the like. It has been K entertainment industry ‘annus horribilus’.

  3. Kamsahamnida, cant wait to see you Ji Chang Wook,my heart flutters….love you always😙😙😙😙😙😙

  4. I like JCW but thought he got way to much thunder in the drama called Healer. PMY helped make that movie great too. If he were that good, wouldn’t he have gotten an award, already, for his acting skills? I find it disconcerting that lead actresses, who make dramas successful, are l eft behind by the media and some fans. PMY has been in many top notch dramas.

Lee Min was in some pretty action packed films before he enlisted. Did he use a double all the time for his stunt work? Sorry to hear his accident limits him.

  5. Very, very so excited of JI CHANG WOOK’s return come end of April. Feeling great just knowing he will shortly be seen again in big and small screen! We missed you so much Dookie! God be always with you.

  6. Good to know that he will be coming back, I wonder what happened to him that I didn’t see him on TV anymore. Turn out he is serving his duty to his country.
