Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji Smolders in Intimate Back Hug Moment in Official Posters for tvN Drama It’s Okay to Not be Okay

Lordy is it hot in here. Not raging inferno fire hot but muggy tropics in the late afternoon with the stagnant beach air wafting in kind of hot. The official posters for tvN drama It’s Okay to Not be Okay are totally OKAY with me, lol, it’s better than okay it’s really lovely and the gaze of the viewer feels almost intrusive on these two beautiful people in repose. Kim Soo Hyun rests his frame in a back hug towards Seo Ye Ji but she sees both in the moment and detached emotionally. I sense physical and mental attraction but probably their characters are too emotionally messed up to embark on a healthy relationship from the outset. The posters are uniquely positioned so that the two leads can be placed both vertically and horizontally, and like the posters for Hi Bye, Mama! the two leads can be split apart into their own frames and still captivate with their vibrant auras. Nicely done!

    • Lol!! People can change with time. She is 30 now. So she may have transformed naturally..I mean who looks the same after 12 years.
But at the same time I don’t know..Cause everyone is not PMY to accept that they have gone under the knife .

    • Don’t know for absolute certainty, but she looks just like her toddler pic and her niece has an uncanny resemblance to her.

    • @joane – SYJ provided high school photos of when she was 17 years old and she looks the same. On a parody/roleplay SYJ twitter account the pic is posted there. Personally I really don’t care if she had ps or not as long as it doesn’t affect her acting then I’m all good. On that note and in her character teaser she actually gets to touch KSH bare chest and so right now I’m in lala land and still recovering from that.

  1. I dunno I am disappointed with the teaser. I wasn’t expecting this mood and I’m not sure I’m up for it. I’ll still give it a try but something tells me it’s not my cup of tea.

  2. Gosh this poster is just… hot damn.
Iā€™m obsessed with it for some reason and the thing hasnā€™t even started yet. Please be awesome! Dramaland owes me big time after some really exciting dramas turned out to be complete duds past year or so.

  3. I wasn’t interested but just because of this poster I might look it up. Usually the leads are posed the other way around with FL resting her head on ML’s shoulder, or the ML is backhugging FL but in a protective embrace. This gives me hope that I might actually like FL as there’s not enough of that in kdramas for me.

  4. THEY LOOK SO GOOD TOGETHER!!! I can hardly wait for June 20 to come. Hope it receive much love from Netflix and the Korean viewers.

  5. well honestly its not that hot to me. its beautiful instead, and gives me some feeling of tranquility somehow. maybe because of the expression on their faces. KSH looks so calm resting his face on her back like she is where he finds peace, like only hugging her this way would be enough for him.
its a very nice and well made poster anyway.

  6. The poster speaks volumes. Kim Soo Hyun & Seo Ye Ji did not pose in a definitive manner such as posing cute, smiling at the camera, looking happy or inlove. Varied emotions can be drawn from it. But the over all aspect is refreshing and calming. Thank you @tvN & netflix. Weā€™ll start watching on the 20th until the last episode. Good luck? Fighting?

  7. Iā€™m so ready, honestly the script could be a mess but if they come through with the performances and their chemistry is on fire, Iā€™ll be a happy, giddy lady! Canā€™t wait!!!

    • Well I smell that Convenience store will be a bigger flop than this. The webtoon is ridiculous and so does the teaser. I wonder how it can compete with Psycho ,but its okay. I know both the dramas air at different time slots but still this will overshadow that pervy drama or whatever. Poor wookie I feel bad for him.
      How does it feel now??..?.
Better not judge a drama even before it is aired. I think someone is getting insecure here.

    • They say TWOM will flop, they say TKEM will cross the 30% rating, but then, things turn out well for TWOM. So, please don’t count the chickens before they hatch.

    • There were early predictions abt the failures of some dramas like CLOY and TWOM. But,then their final ratings manage to prove naysayers wrong.

  8. Yes you are right.I remember how people were predicting CLOY to be the flop of the year.
I may have apprehensions towards the synopsis sometimes but never judge how a drama will fare ratings wise before it is aired .

  9. I think TKEM and TWOM were the best lesson for all of us to not to hype/bash dramas before they air. so chill everyone. Lets see what happens.

  10. She has antisocial personality disorder .so she is a sociopath .that kind of person doesn’t fall in love,it is only a obsession.and sociopaths can harm any one,do crime without worry and regret.they don’t care about others feeling.so guys..don’t hope beautiful romance and happy ending in this drama.most special thing is antisocial personality disorder can’t cure

    • @Madz – That’s the whole point of the drama. They’re both anti -love from the character synopsis and overviews provided. In the beginning we learn one doesn’t have time for love due to his personal circumstances from caring for his older brother and the other doesn’t know how to love due to a birth defect of having a cold heart. It’s their journey and how they begin to fall in love with one another because they have the same traits. One has the fear of loving and the other is not knowing what love is. That’s the endgame and in the final episode they are in love, settle down and live happily ever after just like in the fairy tales. The end.

PS: If not then all hell is gonna break loose (with me of course) and to be continued….
